The Bounty of Sweden was Yeats’ tribute to the Royal Swedish Academy for his award of the Nobel Prize. Printing of the work was completed on the last day of May 1925 in an edition of 400 copies. It was the first book issued from Cuala’s new shop and workrooms at 133 Lower Baggot Street in Dublin, to which the press had moved after several years in the poet’s house at 82 Merrion Square, Dublin.
